Purpose and scope

The aim of the “DIGITAL TRANSACTIONS” programme is to help businesses adopt modern digital tools for invoicing, issuing and handling tax documents, and making electronic payments. The programme is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) operating in Greece and is expected to improve SME productivity, make transactions more secure and strengthen tax compliance.

Through the programme, participating businesses can receive support for one or more of the following categories of action:

  • Category 1: Buying a new EFT/POS card terminal or replacing an existing one
  • Category 3: E-invoicing provider services and invoicing software
  • Category 4: Upgrading fiscal cash registers (ΦΤΜ) and standalone fiscal processing units (ΑΔΗΜΕ) to connect to an EFT/POS terminal
  • Category 5: Replacing special secure fiscal signing devices (ΕΑΦΔΣΣ), except in food service businesses
  • Category 6: Replacing fiscal electronic devices (ΦΗΜ: a ΦΤΜ, ΑΔΗΜΕ or ΕΑΦΔΣΣ) in food service businesses
  • Category 7: Software upgrades and improvements, and technical support for a connected EFT/POS terminal

To this end, the “DIGITAL TRANSACTIONS” programme will provide vouchers for acquiring new digital tools, by purchase or lease.
